Mary-Frances Monroe was appointed Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Wheaton in December 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from both her playing and coaching careers. A former U.S. Women’s National Team player and standout collegiate midfielder, Monroe was a four-time NSCAA All-American, two-time NSCAA Academic All-American, and three-time MAC Hermann Award finalist, excelling at both UConn and UCLA. Her professional career included stints with the Philadelphia Charge, Boston Breakers, and clubs in Sweden, winning a league title along the way. Transitioning into coaching, Monroe spent 12 seasons at the collegiate level, leading programs at Albany, Miami, and Florida Atlantic, where she guided teams to historic conference tournament appearances and championships while mentoring future professionals. She has also contributed to U.S. Soccer as a scout and coach for the Youth Girls National Team. With additional leadership roles at Pinecrest Premier, Monroe remains dedicated to player development at all levels, making her a dynamic force in women’s soccer.
Coach Sarah Dacey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and current women’s head coach at Bentley University. Dacey played for the legendary Anson Dorrance, the winningest coach in NCAA women’s soccer history. As a four-year starter and a key member of the Tar Heels’ National Championship-winning teams in 1993, 1994, and 1996, Dacey had the distinct honor of sharing the field with US Soccer icon Mia Hamm. During her AMAZING career UNC’s record was an astounding 98-3-1. Coach Dacey was also a two-time IWLCA All-American in women’s lacrosse for UNC, captaining the team to the NCAA Final Four in both 1997 and 1998!!! We are thrilled to welcome back Coach Panos Galatas to NCAA BootCamp 2025 at Brewster Academy! Currently entering his fourth season on staff with the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer program, Coach Galatas has been a key part of the America East Coaching Staff of the Year in both 2022 and 2023 and contributed to three consecutive America East Regular Season Titles, an America East Conference Championship, and two NCAA Tournament appearances—including a Sweet Sixteen run in 2023. A New Hampshire native, Galatas had a standout collegiate career at New England College, where he was a four-year starting midfielder, two-time First Team All-Conference selection, and played in two NCAA Tournaments. His playing career also took him overseas to Portugal’s Division de Honor and Liga Revelação with Académica de Coimbra. In addition to his role at UNH, he serves as the Administrator for New Hampshire’s Olympic Development Program and coaches the U12 ODP State Team. Coach Galatas brings a wealth of experience and passion for player development, and we’re excited for him to share his knowledge with our BootCamp players this summer.

Roberto “Robbie” DoCarmo, a native of Wolfeboro NH, has cemented himself as a pivotal figure in the local soccer community through his passion, dedication, and leadership. As a 2023 graduate of the University of New Hampshire (UNH), Robbie served as the team manager for the UNH Men’s Soccer program for two years, leaving an indelible mark on the team with his commitment to excellence and teamwork.
In parallel to his role at UNH, Robbie assumed the position of head coach for the Northern New Hampshire Soccer Club, where he has been instrumental in helping shape the next generation of local soccer talent. Over the past two years, he has not only coached the NNHSC U12, U15 and U17 teams but also played a crucial role in program development, guiding coaching staff, and nurturing players’ growth both on and off the field. His dedication to the club and his players extends beyond the sidelines, as he continues to serve as a coach and mentor to this day, fostering a culture of excellence and sportsmanship.
Robbie’s journey in soccer began during his formative years at Brewster Academy, where he was a key member of the men’s soccer team for four years. His talent and determination caught the attention of Seacoast United, leading him to represent the club both at their Epping facility in 2013-2014 and with the Seacoast United Mountaineers in preceding years. However, his roots in the sport trace back to his youth, where he first showcased his skills playing for Wolfeboro town & rec soccer, laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
Beyond his achievements on the field, Robbie embodies the values of sportsmanship, leadership, and community engagement. His unwavering commitment to soccer and its positive impact on individuals and communities alike serves as an inspiration to those around him.
As Robbie continues to leave his mark on the soccer world, his legacy as a coach, mentor, and advocate for the sport is destined to endure, shaping the future of soccer in New Hampshire and beyond.
